This news is still very much unconfirmed, but it looks like Bill Moseley and Mos Def are joining Danielle Harris in the cast of Zebediah De Soto's Night of the Living Dead: Origins. Moseley will be returning to the role of Johnny that he played in the 1990 remake, while Mos Def will voice Ben.
Night of the Living Dead: Origins is differentiating itself from the other NOTLD remakes by being an entirely CG-animated movie, not to mention a prequel of sorts that will fill in other details left out of the George Romero movie.
According to Harris, the movie will look good, at least. "I've seen the director's (other) stuff and it looks really unbelievable." The finished product won't be complete for another two years.
Joseph Pilato (Romero's Day of the Dead) and Alona Tal will voice the Coopers, while Mike Diskint will voice Tom.
