Much like his socially insecure character in the Zombieland, Jesse Eisenberg expressed non-committal enthusiasm for the much rumored sequel. He told MTV the cast and crew had "great affection" for the film and "if they were to put together a good sequel, we would all probably be really excited to do it." Way to go out on a limb Jesse.
In the same interview, Eisenberg was asked what he'd like his character to do in the sequel. His response - "I killed clown zombies in the first one. I can't imagine what other things I could do that would kind of overshadow that." Let's not forget you also killed Bill Murray. That's a tough act to follow.
As we previously reported, a script for Zombieland 2 was delivered to the studio. Zombieland's director, Ruben Fleischer, told STYD
Yeah, I read it. I mean, it's an early draft and we have plenty more to do to work on it, but I think it's going to be amazing, I'm really excited about it.
Now THAT is how you go out on a limb!
