People reports the wedding of Resident Evil director Paul W.S. Anderson and Milla Jovovich on August 22, 2009, in Beverly Hills, CA. Like much of the Resident Evil movies, no zombies were invited.
The two met, of course, on the set of 2000's Resident Evil, where they made a promising movie whose sequels never lived up to the original. However, as maligned a series as Resident Evil may be, it has successfully contributed to the success and furtherance of the zombie world, and for that we mention their wedding. Please send a card.
The couple will enjoy a honeymoon that includes shooting Resident Evil: Afterlife, which arrives in theaters August 27, 2010, just in time for their anniversary.
