If you're like us, you loved [Rec] 2 and spend too much time on Facebook. The latest images for the upcoming sequel/prequel [Rec] 3 Genesis are now on the movie's Facebook page and depict a wedding gone horribly wrong. It's hard for me to think that the virus' beginning started during nuptials, but then there's the first poster for the movie (courtesy of Yahoo! Spain) that says these fateful words: "el dia mas feliz de mi vida" or "the happiest day of my life."
Some explanation for this is in the synopsis contained in the one-sheet, courtesy of Dread Central.
In [REC] 3: Genesis the action now takes place miles away from the original location and partly in broad daylight giving the film an entirely fresh yet disturbing new reality. The infection has left the building. In a clever twist that draws together the plots of the first two movies this third part of the saga also works as a decoder to uncover information hidden in the first two films and leaves the door open for the final installment the future [REC] 4 Apocalypse.
[Rec]3 Genesis was directed by Paco Plaza, who co-directed the previous movies. Leticia Dolera and Diego Martin star. Spanish site Aullidos grabbed the photos off Facebook, so we can enjoy them below.

No zombie-like virus here!

Or here! Is this a horror movie?

No-wait, there it is. Either that's a viral outbreak or everyone should skip dinner!
