Twitch created a lot of "here we go again" buzz this morning after revealing that director Craig Gillespie had left the adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith's 2009 best-selling mash-up novel Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Supposedly, Gillespie was frustrated over not being able to find a lead actress, which sounds completely bogus. Turn out it was.
Reps for Lionsgate set the record straight, pointing out that Gillespie was still firmly attached to the project. Twitch promises to "look into it further" and is standing by its sources for what looks to be no good reason. I'm not knocking the site, we don't even have shitty sources to mislead us, so good for them.
