Director Michael Bartlett announced on his Twitter page that progress on the sequel to The Zombie Diaries, titled World of the Dead: The Zombie Diaries 2, has been approved by the Weinstein Company.
I'm told The Weinstein Company has approved our Picture Lock. World of the Dead is looking good.
Bartlett has previously described the sequel as "a British World War Z", and takes place about three months after the events of the first movie.
No word yet on when the sequel will be released.
