Treyarch scored a huge hit with Call of Duty: World at War, and not just because it was an excellent WWII-set, first-person shooter, but because it included a simple, Tower-defense bonus game: Nazi zombies. However, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 completely ignored zombies, even though it would have only added to an overall awesome game.
With the follow-up, Call of Duty: Black Ops coming out November 9, Official Playstation Magazine asked the question we are all wondering: Will Black Ops include a zombie mode?
Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia explains:
We really like the Zombie Mode, and as I mentioned I can't talk about the co-op mode other than to say one of the reasons we love it so much is that it feels like it was a fan adopted mode, made out of passion of a lot of the team members here.
So it will include it? Perhaps in co-op, or no?
Well all I can tell you is we listen to the fanbase. Those are our consumers, so..
Ahhhh, gotcha. We understand. November 9 can't come soon enough. Here's the trailer, which has zero zombies in it but is bad-ass anyway.
