It's happening SNES fans: Zombies Ate My Neighbors is going to become a feature film. First Showing reports that the movie has a script from John Darko (bit of a newbie, but his IMDb page says he is "Los Angeles native born with 35mm eyesight" which isn't hokey at all) and is seeking financing, but that "things are going well and it's coming together."
No details on the plot yet, but, according to the report, fans can rest assured that Zeke and Julie will be included in a coming-of-age story that will include zombies, humor, and, effects just a cut above the graphics of the original game.
