Name this game: players can choose one of 4 characters to fight off endless zombie hordes and play both cooperatively and online. Have a game in mind? Zombie Apocalypse, right? No? You had another game in mind? That huge picture above this text didn't tip you off? But, wait, Left 4 Dead's a totally different game from Zombie Apocalypse! For one, Left 4 Dead's in first person! Zombie Apocalypse is in third person!

djsnug76 apparently has NO friends.
Ok, so Konami's Zombie Apocalypse is a little bit like Left 4 Dead. Players have to survive wave after wave of the undead over 7 environments through 55 days (55? Take that, Dead Rising's 3 days), with each day representing a level. Players can use 11 different weapons, including rocket launchers, shotguns, chainsaws, and machine guns.

Why do Louis, Zoey, Bill and Francis look so different?
As Kotaku points out, the only real problem with the game is the inablility to drop-in or drop-out of a game. To add players to a game, one must quit the current game and start over. Pretty odd for a cooperative game.
Konami, even after showing the game at E3, have no release date in mind, saying instead that the game will come out "very soon." Zombie Apocalypse will be available for download on either the Playstation Network or XBOX Live Arcade. And now, enjoy some gameplay below:
