Didn't he already?
That's right, George Romero isn't just satisfied making movies, he'd like to make video games as well. In an interview with Destructoid, Romero admitted that many companies have talked to him about the prospect, even Capcom.
I'd like to do a game. I'd like to work with a gamer on it,but everyone who has ever approached me, it's always been ... sell us your name and go home. I don't particularly want to do that.
Romero admits he has "a lot of ideas" about a video game, but doesn't play them himself.
I'm not a gamer, so I don't know. What excites a gamer? I don't know. I think I could come up with a good story, and good situations — places to hide shit... We'll see what happens.
The funny part of this is that Romero's name has been used on a game: The Land of the Dead: The Road to Fiddler's Green. Apparently, that was one of those games where they just used Romero's name because there was no good place to hide shit. I've said it before, but a movie adaptation of the game version of Land of the Dead would blow my mind. You listening, Paul Anderson?
