According to Moviehole, Zombieland 2 is happening and it might be in 3-D. Director Ruben Fleischer spoke about the sequel, claiming that all the principal actors are interested in returning and that "the genre really lends itself to [3-D]."Not really sure where he gets that from considering the lack of 3-D zombie films.
The story was broken by Clint Morris, producer of Condition Dead 3-D, which comes out next year and will give zombie fans a glimpse of what 3-D mixed with zombies will look like. Patrick Lussier (My Bloody Valentine 3-D) directed the movie and will probably do better than Night of the Living Dead 3-D. At least, we hope so.
There are few details or the suppossed sequel, with Fleischer and company still needing to "crack" the story for the sequel.
Considering Fleischer's strong visual sense displayed in Zombieland, a 3-D sequel could be pretty spectacular. 3-D may be a little too en vogue right now, but could really work in Fleischer's hands.

Dumbass
CLOAKINGYeah, what a dumbass! It's almost as if he's saying that there's hardly any 3-D zombie movies, which you also said in your comment! If there aren't any 3-D zombie movies really, then what was his dumbass point about there not being many 3-D zombie movies? Then the dumbass has the dumbass gall to say that a 3-D Zombieland could actually work? What a dumbass! So what was he trying to do? Make a smartass comment that was funny? Dumbass.
CLOAKINGnot sure where he gets that? because he's a creative person with a creative mind...thus, he can visualize how the genre could lend itself successfully to 3D. There haven't really been any "zombie" horror flicks yet because 3D is a relatively new medium dumbass
