Tweet Like a Zombie Day - February 4th

FEARNet is celebrating George A. Romero's 70th birthday this Thursday with Tweets, tributes and free zombie movies.  FEARNet's celebratory offering includes:

• Tributes to George Romero from horror notables Guillermo Del Toro (Pan's Labyrinth), Mick Garris (Masters of Horror), Max Brooks (World War Z) and others.
• Video interviews with Romero and cast members of his groundbreaking "Living Dead" series of films.
• Full-length, free streaming movies featuring the consequences of zombie-like outbreaks, including Mulberry Street, the aptly titled J-horror film Infection and David Cronenberg's classic Shivers.
• Zombie American, a short starring The Hangover's Ed Helms
• A Jobs of the Damned video lesson from Doug Jones (Hellboy's Abe Sapien and the creepy Ice Cream Truck guy from Legion) on how to move like a zombie.
• A review of the Kevin Hamedani's post-9-11 political horror-comedy Zombies of Mass Destruction, part of this year's After Dark Horrorfest.
• Original zombie haikus penned by FEARnet site visitors in Romero's honor, like:

Genius FEARNet.  Genius.

FEARNet will also feature a photo gallery of the best zombie themed birthday cakes from around the web.  No word on whether people will submit their own zombie cake pictures so if you want to get yours featured, better start baking!
