To say that vampires are popular these days is to point out the truly obvious, with teen girls (and middle-aged women) swooning to Twilight and several vampire TV shows to choose from. With zombies going through yet another resurgence, they are often referred to in the press as "the new vampires." Writer/director/producer/editor/special and visual effects artist Kerry Prior knew this all too well, because his new movie, The Revenant, which screened at L.A.'s 2009 ScreamFest, decided to take advantage of both.

Really thought they'd announce 13 movies. Seems right.
