This is a rumor right now, but Dawn of the Dead could be made into a TV show by reality-show powerhouse MTV.

There is little one can say about Zombi 2 that has not been written a hundred times over.  It's asthetic is grainy and amateurish with a penchant for fantastical gore.  A victim of producer's greed, the film was marketed as a sequel to Dawn of the Dead in Europe even through it had nothing to do with Romero's classic.   The story is ridiculous and the acting is poor and yet there is an undeniable appeal to the film.
